At least 75% of my 299 titles purchased this school year have diverse characters and/or authors. I tried to keep different cultures in mind when deciding on purchases to add to the collection. In doing the diversity audit, I saw how our ethnicities were not equal in our representation. There is still a lot of work to continue to build about making our collection more equal and diverse. It will continue to be a goal throughout my career.
