1. Topic - brainstorm ideas and formulate an essential question. Think of your audience: what would your reader want to know?
2. Research - answer the question through interviews and reading articles. Write a script, giving verbal credit to your sources. ("Cullen Browder of WRAL news reports ...")
3. Edit - read the script aloud a few times for others so you'll know if you it is confusing or needs more details. If so, edit script as needed.
4. Practice - sit at newsdesk and practice. Do you need props, wardrobe changes?
1. Set up tripod with room to only see subject of video and green screen as background.
2. Turn on all lights, open blinds, and use side lighting to remove shadows.
3. Plug in Microphone and put close to speakers, this will help remove background noise.
4. Scripts can be scrolled on a monitor, teleprompter, or paper.
5. Record using your iPad Camera (not into the app).
6. Edit - on the iPad and send to DoInk App for backgrounds. ***For longer clips with multiple edits, send via AirDrop to the MacBook and add Green Screen there.
