Create a book trailer to help us spread the word about good books!

1 - Write Script and have it approved by Thrash

2 - Choose format: Stop Motion, Live Action, Green Screen, Voice over Slides...

3 - Collect props or media to create video

4 - Film or Edit using online Mac resources,

Music from within iMovie only, for copyright reasons
Images, you MUST take pictures from the book or create original art
Share files with Mrs. Thrash (ethrash) in Google Drive OR if you're at school, let her know which Mac you have it loaded on, so she can compile the big video to share with students!

Destiny Book Reviews

Just like when you browse in Amazon, if you're looking for a book, it might help to find a review of a book in Destiny's Library Catalog - Discovery Version . Write and submit a review for approval.

1. Read Book and Write a critical Review.

2. Writing a Review:

Make the reader feel the book. How did that book make you feel?
Don't share spoilers, build up the first few pages and introductory characters but don't go too far.
Compare it to other books in the genre.
Proofread for grammar and content.
Multiple reviews for each book?

3. Login to Destiny through WakeID. Find the book, and choose the star icons to review.

4. Submit

Will need to be approved by Mrs. Thrash, so tell her you've submitted it. ethrash@wcpss.net
