January 26th - February 9th - 8th grade core teachers make data-based recommendations for 9th grade core classes.ย We will communicate the recommendations to students shortly after this window closes.ย ย
January - February - High Schools hold Open House Information Sessions for Rising-9th Graders and Parents (see High School Information section below for specific dates) - Please make every effort to attend your child's high school open house information session!
Wednesday, February 18th, 6:00pm - Rising-9th Grade Parent information presentation in the DDMS auditorium
Thursday, February 19th - Rising-9th Grade Student information presentationย
Registration Portal opens on Monday, February 23rd.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, MARCH 19TH.

High School Graduation Requirements
Students must earn 22 credits under the Future-Ready Core Graduation Requirements
In addition to the 22 credits students must earn to graduate high school, students must also successfully pass 4 EOC Assessments:
NC Math I
Biology
NC Math III
English II
