About Ms. Jacques

I was born in the Caribbean island of Trinidad but soon after my family moved to Brooklyn NY. In 2005 my son and I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina but just a year later we decided we liked Raleigh better!

I taught special education for several years in Wake County public schools and most recently as an Intervention teacher at Lynn Road Elementary. 

I'm thrilled to be joining Barton Pond Elementary as the 4th/5th grade Coach and Intervention Coordinator.

In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling and most recently camping all over this beautiful state!
