Hello! I was born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania but moved to North Carolina 12 years ago! I attended Slippery Rock University and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. My family is all still in Pennsylvania, but I visit frequently. I live here happily in Fuquay-Varina with my husband, Mack; our daughter, Amelia; and our 2 dogs, Karma and Athena.

I was born and raised in Ohio and lived in Maryland for over twenty years. North Carolina is now my home. I have a professional background in education and librarianship, and I have a passion for early literacy and sharing a love for reading. I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places, and taking long walks with my sweet labrador, Gus Gus. I'm so happy to be a part of your kindergartener's learning journey at Alston Ridge!
