Certain websites are blocked on your Promethean Board.
To get around this, consider using your Laptop to project to the board. If you can access the website on your WCPSS laptop, but not on your Promethean Board, it's because the Promethean Board has a bunch of security measures on it (because WCPSS can't monitor it, like they can monitor your laptop) and certain websites are blocked. Kahoot, for example, is blocked on Promethean. Project with your laptop instead! See this document for how to do that and some other basic things about your Promethean Board.
You've drawn something on the Promethean Board and want to transfer it to your Laptop or Google Drive.
I've created this document explaining how to use your WCPSS Adobe Acrobat File Cloud to transfer files from the Promethean Board to your laptop. You can draw in other ways, but if you've got an Annotation or a Whiteboard Drawing, this is the only way I've found to transfer files from the Promethean Board to another device. You can also use a personal USB Flash Drive for this.
CANVAS IMPLEMENTATION 2022-23
Please note that every teacher is required to utilize CANVAS as their Learning Management System. Linked below are multiple resources including opportunities to register for in person or online trainings, "how to" videos, an extensive handbook and a helpful skillset checklist to guide you based on your current level with utilizing CANVAS.
The Media Specialists will be available in the Library on Wednesday, August 24th from 10-12 and Friday, August 26th from 9-11. Please familiarize yourselves with these resources and drop in with any questions or troubleshooting requests.

WCPSS DLCs will be on campus various dates throughout the 2021-22 school year to assist with Canvas and other instructional technologies.
