Impact of COVID-19 on standardized testing for UNC System Schools: On May 27, 2021, the UNC Board of Governors voted to extend the current testing waiver for students applying for admission in Spring 2022, Summer 2022, and Fall 2022. Students will have the option to submit an ACT or SAT test score, but test scores will not be required for admission decisions. Those who do not submit a standardized test score will need to meet the minimum weighted GPA of 2.5 to be considered for undergraduate admission.
**If you are applying to a school outside of the UNC System, please check that specific school's standardized testing requirement.
If you are sending scores, all colleges require SAT, ACT, and AP test scores to be sent directly from the College Board (SAT) or ACT. The Student Services office is unable to send test scores.
