Ask your recommenders well in advance! At least 2 weeks ahead of time. Do not just put their email into an application portal without asking first.
Ask teachers who can write positive things on your behalf!
Teachers, coaches, employers, volunteer coordinators, and church members are all appropriate recommenders.
NO family members or friends should write letters or recommendation for you.
