Phase 2: Risk of spreading of COVID-19 is moderate but increasing. Requires Moderate Mitigation.
Face-to-Face learning with static groups of students or social distancing protocols in place. Short-term closure (remote learning) could occur if needed to mitigate outbreaks. Phase 2 health and safety guideline are in place per CDC/LDOE/WCPSB.
Students will physically attend school on staggered schedule.
PK-5 8:00-3:00 M-F
6-12 8:30-3:30 M-F
All Grades will be divided into Homerooms (consisting of less than 24 students per group).
PK-8 Students will stay with this same homeroom group. Students will remain in the same room for the duration of the day with the exception of PE and outside time, in which groups will still be separated based on homeroom to avoid mixing groups.
High School students will be divided into homerooms and remain with that group of students to the greatest extent possible.
Staff and students should wear masks/face covering throughout the duration of the school day.
Lunch will be served in the classroom.
Bathrooms and class exchanges are scheduled for control of social distancing.
Soft Opening: Scheduled by the Board
Soft Opening will consist of Diagnostic LEAP 2025 Testing and getting students and faculty understanding to the procedures. High School will use this time to work on schedules as well. This will last until the school system is comfortable and seems to have all procedures and protocol in place to keep staff and students safe.
