Phase 1: Risk of spreading of COVID-19 is significant. Requires Significant Mitigation.
School is open to teachers and some groups of students. Students not physically attending school and are completing coursework through remote learning. OGHS is prepared to support students’ well-being and academic development remotely for an extended period of time. Breakfast and Lunch will still be served using school buses to deliver or picked up at OGHS.
Schools return to OGHS Continued Learning configuration, with 100% instruction delivered via distance learning modes- online, video, etc.
Groups of students who will be invited to come to school in the event of returning to Phase 1 include:
PK-2 will attend in alternating groups as determined by the school
Special Education (attendance will be determined by IEP Team)
Students with Lack of Connectivity
Students at Risk of Truancy
Teacher’s Children
Students will be divided into static groups of 10 and still complete their instruction on virtual platform.
What is Remote Learning?
Remote Students (not on campus) during Phase 1 will receive instruction through virtual learning environments (Google Classroom/Meet).
All Instruction during Phase 1 will be asynchronous. Teachers will host an office hour daily for students to login and check in with the teacher. This office hour will serve as a way to receive help if student is struggling with a lesson.
Office Hour attendance will be taken for the students. It is expected that students check-in during this hour for each subject.
