Data is one of the most powerful tools to inform, engage, and create opportunities for students along their education journey—and it‘s much more than test scores. Data helps us make connections that lead to insights and improvements. Sharing data with staff regularly can help to uncover trends they may not be apparent and supports informed decision-making practices. Monthly and annual assessment keep teams on track toward their goals and ensure fidelity.
TFI 1.12: Discipline Data - Tier 1 team has instantaneous access to graphed reports summarizing discipline data organized by the frequency of problem behavior events by behavior, location, time of day, and by individual student.
TFI 1.13: Data-Based Decision Making - Tier 1 team reviews and uses discipline data and academic outcome data (e.g. curriculum-based measurements, state tests) at least monthly for decision making.
