Do this one thing to build concentration and reduce back-to-school anxiety!
1. Always start with a positive about the class - something your child likes about school.
2. Share what brings out the best in your child at home - include a relationship between resilience, motivation, effort, or other aspects you want to be addressed.
3. Share what does not work - what you notice at home that does not work with your child.
4. Establish the partnership - come up with a plan that incorporates consistent language and strategies between school and home.
