When the back-to-school time comes around, teachers and school administrators start looking for room parents. But what does a room parent do?

A room parent (also known as a class parent) facilitates communication between parents and the teacher, school administration, and/or parent-teacher organization (PTA), and supports the teacher in needs that may arise.

Celebrate and thank our amazing WBAIS staff at Teacher/Staff all year long. It is a simple and fun way for us to say “thanks” to our teachers and staff for all they do.

1) Winter Holiday gifts

2) Appreciation luncheons and during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Month (March). Sign up to decorate our Staff Lounge, bring in homemade goodies to share, helping to put together possible pampering event, and/or help serve lunch to our staff.

3) End of year appreciation gifts

4) All year - Coming up with ideas all year long to help show our Teachers & Staff we appreciate them. This does not always mean that everything the committee will do will require gifts that cost money. We are needing you to help us come up with meaningful ideas to show how much we are thankful for our Teacher & Staff

Every year the PTA partners with all of WBAIS to put on an amazing Halloween Event on campus for our students and the community. Unfortunately for 2020-2021, we had an online Halloween event instead of in person. The great thing about that though is we learned so much as a team from that.

We need the help of so many people to make this event happen. We need help with logistics, fundraising, carpentry, booth and of so much more.

Join us as we help to bring Holiday cheer to all. This event has been going on since 2011 (as far as we can tell)! Come and meet Santa, enjoy some holiday crafts and more. We need cheerful volunteers to help make this event possible.
