RavKavCard

The Rav-Kav is a smart card used as the main form of payment for public transportation in Israel: Use it to take the train, bus, or Sherut. It is one of the few forms of payment accepted on buses and some Sheruts. Cost = 5 NIS

Get and Load money onto your Rav Kav card from:

• Tel Aviv train stations

• Tel Aviv Central Bus Station (level 6)

• All SuperPharm branches: you can ask at any counter

• Branches of Cofix and Supermarkets: A Rav Kav sign will be outside the supermarket/Cofix

• Rav-Kav designated service stations (ravkavonline.co.il/en/store)

• Tourist Information Centers

• The Rav Kav Service Station (located at 35 Ibn Gabirol St.)

If you have an NFC supported cellphone, you can load money onto your Rav Kav card through the apps:

• HopOn Rav-Pass”

• “Rav-Kav”

** HopOn Rav-Pass app allows you to scan the barcode in the bus to pay for the ride without the need of a Rav-Kav Card

Costs:

• One ride costs 5.90 NIS, you can take as many buses as you like within Tel Aviv as long as you don’t exceed a 90-minute time frame for 5.90 NIS.

• Every other ride after the 90-minute time frame costs another 5.90 NIS.

• Daily Pass in Tel Aviv costs 13 shekels and it’s valid on the day you charge it.

• Leaving Tel Aviv: You can top up your Rav Kav with daily pass for the whole country or just parts of it.

• Tel Aviv until Haifa costs 39-40 NIS and it’s valid for the whole day on all public transportation (city buses, intercity buses, trains, sheruts…)

• Daily whole country pass: valid to go everywhere in the country costs 59-60 NIS.
