Evernote is a website and an application that "remembers everything."


Evernote allows you to create notebooks, add notes to the notebooks, and syncs across any device you set up.


Types of notes Evernote accepts:

  • typed notes, right in the application
  • uploading documents
  • images (snap a pic with a webcam or a camera on your device (phone, tablet...)
  • audio, sketch (from mobile device)


Practical examples:

  • Websites and usernames you visit... and perhaps a password hint for yourself.
  • To do lists
  • Meeting notes
  • Digital notebooks for students
  • Notes for a research project


With Evernote, your notebooks are digital and they can be accessed on the web at any time by going to

https://evernote.com/ and logging in. Most mobile devices (smart phones, tablets...) have free Evernote apps.


Evernote also has a webclipper application that allows you to clip and save websites or portions of them.
