If the objects in your room came to life, what would they say to you??? Have you ever thought about that?
1) Begin by listening to the read aloud: The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. In the story, Duncan is surprised by what his crayons have to say to him!
2) After the story, think about the objects in your room. Choose one object. If it could talk, what would it say to you??? What might it do if it were alive??
3) Use your iPad camera to take a photo of the object at eye level - get really close. Try to avoid a busy background.
4) Then, use the markup tools on your iPad to add details and speech bubbles to your photo to show what the object would say to you if it could talk. (Video: how to use Markup Tools)
