Ever wonder why a bald eagle is one of the symbols that represents our country? Why did it get selected to represent the United States? Who chose this symbol? You'll learn answers to these questions and others in this activity!
1) Go to pebblego.com, tap the green sign in button, and log in with this information:

3) Read/listen to the information about bald eagles
4) Share a fact you learned about bald eagles on the Padlet
Living in north central Wisconsin, we are lucky to see bald eagles flying free in the sky! The other week, I even drove past one perched on a tree on the side of the road! But, how much do we know about these birds? Learn some facts about bald eagles and share your information.
1) Go to one of the online encyclopedias below:
- Britannica School Elementary
- World Book Encyclopedia Online
- If needed, use the username: wsdriverview & password: world
- Select either "kids" or "student"
2) Type in "bald eagle" in the search bar and select the article on bald eagles
3) Read/listen to the information about bald eagles
4) Share a fact you learned and which encyclopedia it came from on the Padlet
