This science fiction, drama, and action book follows a young girl who is from District 12, the poorest one in all of Panem. Katniss Everdeen has been chosen for the Hunger Games, where 24 kids, 1 girl and boy from each district, are put in an arena to fight to the death.
You can find this book in the Swift library located in the fiction section. It was written by Suzanne Collins and is one of my favorite books. If you finish and enjoy this book, read The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which is a sequel to the amazing Hunger Games.

Can Clay protect his friends or will he lose it all? Written by author Tui. T Sutherland, this book is the first out of 15 main books in the series. If you read this book, I hope you enjoy it and make sure to read the others.

In this science fiction action book, Alan Grant and his fellows must escape the island after an accident. Will they come out full or in bites?
This book is located in the Barnes and Noble in Waterbury and the Danbury Fair Mall for about 11 dollars. After you read this, try and read Jurassic Park, the Lost World which takes place after this book.
