This science fiction, drama, and action book follows a young girl who is from District 12, the poorest one in all of Panem. Katniss Everdeen has been chosen for the Hunger Games, where 24 kids, 1 girl and boy from each district, are put in an arena to fight to the death.
You can find this book in the Swift library located in the fiction section. It was written by Suzanne Collins and is one of my favorite books. If you finish and enjoy this book, read The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which is a sequel to the amazing Hunger Games.
Wings of Fire, The Dragonet Prophecy is a fiction and adventure book that follows Clay and his four friends, the dragonets of prophecy. Clay and his friends have a prophecy that they must fulfill with trouble following them on their tails.
Can Clay protect his friends or will he lose it all? Written by author Tui. T Sutherland, this book is the first out of 15 main books in the series. If you read this book, I hope you enjoy it and make sure to read the others.
