To write a Comparison and/or Contrast essay that is easy to follow, first decide what the similarities or differences are. Which are more significant, the similarities or the differences? It is much easier to discuss ONLY the similarities or ONLY the differences, but you can also do both. Either way, make sure to DISCUSS THE SIGNIFICANCE of these similarities/difference. Attached below are a number of graphic organizers that may help.
