Expectations: The 5 P's
Expectations: The 5 P's
I maintain a high expectation for students' classroom behavior. Be sure to follow the 5 P's:
PROMPT: Be on time, enter quietly, go to your assigned seat, and begin work immediately.
PREPARED: Bring all materials and necessary work; miscellaneous items should be put away; students should be ready to learn.
PRODUCTIVE: Maximize learning time by staying on task, following directions, and remaining in your seat.
PATIENT: Wait respectfully for your turn (speaking, questions, etc.); do not interrupt; give yourself and others time to learn and problem-solve.
POLITE: Be respectful to everyone (yourself, classmates, teacher, and the classroom); keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself; bullying and unkind behavior will NOT be tolerated.
