ROAR = Responsible, Only Kind, Always Safe, Respectful
February may be the shortest month on the calendar, but it is undoubtedly one of the biggest when it comes to heart. As we settle into the mid-winter rhythm, our hallways are buzzing with the warmth of community and kindness. This month, we are focusing on the power of connection, whether that’s through our students’ deep dives into the rich legacies of Black History Month, or the simple, daily acts of friendship that make our school a second home. While the weather outside remains unpredictable and cold, the growth we see in our classrooms is steady and bright. Thank you for being our partners in nurturing not just great students, but truly kind humans.
Warmly,
Jenna Louderback, principal

February 2025:
A few mid-year reminders from Mrs. Sell:

Please remember to submit signed physical exam forms for Kindergarten and 6th graders by the end of the school year!
Please have 6th grade immunizations updated prior to the first day of 7th grade. These include the Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis (Tdap), as well as Meningococcal vaccines.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership,

In music class this month, we will be finishing up our unit on instruments before diving into form and expression. 5th and 6th graders are learning about instruments from across the globe while 3rd and 4th are learning instruments of the orchestra. Younger grades are focused on learning about our percussive instruments in the room such as glockenspiel, xylophone and all our auxiliary percussion instruments. If you want to hear some amazing 5th & 6th grade musicians, be sure to join us for the Lititz Elementary Chorus & Orff Concert, Wednesday, February 4th at 6:30pm in the Lititz Elementary gymnasium.
In Art we are beginning paint projects. Each grade level is working on specific standards related to painting. We can't wait to see the finished projects!
