I hope all of you were able to stay safe and warm today! NTI is never easy for anyone, but I know today was definitely not easy with all of the Internet outages. Thank you so much for working so hard to ensure that everything was done and communicating with us to let us know when you were having internet difficulties. We are so thankful we get to work alongside you especially on hard days like today.
We were so excited to find out that we remained a high performing school from last year's KSA results. Our third through sixth graders helped us score a 71.1 keeping us GREEN. We are so proud of all of their hard work!! We have created the "Wall of Distinguished Eagles" that displays our fourth-sixth grade students who have made the A and A/B Honor Roll for the first quarter (this will get updated after each quarter), as well as those students who scored Proficient/Distinguished on KSA.
Next week, starts our Christmas dress up days. Please see the image below to see what days have been planned.
PTO and our staff are excited about our upcoming Family Night on December 9th. We would love to have you join in on some Christmas cheer! Our choir will be doing Christmas sing-alongs in the music room, our teachers will have some Christmas activities in classrooms, there will be some fun games in the gym, and of course there will be cookies and milk and SANTA! To help us plan, please fill out this Google Form to let us know how many people to prepare for.
Since we were out today, Mrs. Alisa asked me to let you know that our breakfast and lunch menu has changed. Tomorrow we will be having chicken and biscuits for breakfast and chicken quesadillas for lunch. Please see below for December's lunch menu.
As always please let us know if there's anything we can do! We appreciate your support and love for our nest!

Our goal this year is to have 97% daily student attendance. With that said, teachers and the front office will be reaching out more often to check on your children if they are absent. Official letters will be sent home if a student has three, six, or ten unexcused absences. If a student reaches six or ten unexcused absences, then our truancy officer will be contacted. Parents get seven parent notes. If your child misses school, please provide a parent note or doctor's excuse within five school days of the absence. Also, please take note of our new truancy law for this school year. You may click here to read more about it.
