We have finally made it to the last newsletter of the year!  I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your continued partnership in helping make our nest the very best place for our eagles. 

What a wonderful day we had celebrating our Legacy status with Leader in Me.  It was definitely the pinnacle of my job, and I am so thankful that I was able to share this moment with all of our eagles!  It was so great to see the recognition that our precious school and community deserve.  Out of 8,500 schools worldwide, there are 34 Legacy schools and North Warren is now included in that number!  Way to go North Warren Eagles!!

 Preschool Promotion will be at 10:30 on Thursday, May 14th.  You can fill the pre-registration form out here.  Sixth grade will have their annual breakfast the morning before awards.  You may fill out the pre-registration form here.  If you plan to attend Kindergarten-5th grade promotion ceremonies (times are located below), you may fill out the pre-registration form here.  

Mrs. Renee Jones sent out a message last week requesting that all library books be returned.  We would appreciate your help in getting these books returned as soon as possible.  If you are not able to locate the books, a price list was sent home last week with each student who have missing books.   

Thank you all for all you do at home and all the support you give us each and every day!  I hope each and every one of you have a happy and safe summer break!  I will see you all back at our 26/27 Open House on August 3 from 5:30-7:30, and on the first day of school August 12.

Student Attendance

Our goal this year is to have 97% daily student attendance. With that said, teachers and the front office will be reaching out more often to check on your children if they are absent. Official letters will be sent home if a student has three, six, or ten unexcused absences. If a student reaches six or ten unexcused absences, then our truancy officer will be contacted. Parents get seven parent notes. If your child misses school, please provide a parent note or doctor's excuse within five school days of the absence.  Also, please take note of our new truancy law for this school year.  You may click here to read more about it.
