May 18- Status letters will be mailed to your home address on this date. All applicants should receive a status letter by the end of May.
June 26- All acceptance paperwork should be mailed in to accept your student's position at 212 Academy for the 2026-27 academic year.
August 13- Open House for the 2026-27 school year in Briarwood Elementary's gym at 6:00pm.
August 17-21- Students' first day of 212 Academy. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, and composistion notebook this week.
Superintendent’s Welcome:
Welcome 212° students! I want to take this opportunity to congratulate each of you for your selection to participate in our 212° Academy during the 2024-25 school year. Led by Stephanie Beason and Nicole Hardcastle, we are eager and excited to engage each of our students in critical 21st Century learning opportunities. As superintendent of WCPS, I am committed to challenging our best and brightest students in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. We have selected our best to work with your best and I am confident your child will walk away with knowledge and unique experiences unmatched by any other school in Kentucky. I look forward to seeing all of our students engaged in these real world learning experiences throughout the year.
