Important Dates
March 4- Application for the 2024-25 school year launches. All current 4th and 5th students who are identified as Gifted and Talented in ANY area may apply to attend 212 Academy.
March 5 and 7- Family Information Night- 5:30-6:30 pm- If you are interested in applying to 212 Academy for the 2024-25 school year, we encourage you to attend one of these informational events.
March 7- SoKY Robot Royal at WKU- Our Thursday Schools will be attending this event this year.
March 29- 212 Applications for the 2024-25 school year are due to each home school.
April 30- 212 Academy Graduation at South Warren High School Auditorium- 6:00pm. Please come dressed to impress.
May 3- Final day of 212 Academy for the 2023-24 school year.
Last Week of May- Status letters are mailed home to each 2024-25 applicant.

Welcome 212° students! I want to take this opportunity to congratulate each of you for your selection to participate in our 212° Academy during the 2023-24 school year. Led by Stephanie Beason and Nicole Hardcastle, we are eager and excited to engage each of our students in critical 21st Century learning opportunities. As superintendent of WCPS, I am committed to challenging our best and brightest students in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. We have selected our best to work with your best and I am confident your child will walk away with knowledge and unique experiences unmatched by any other school in Kentucky. I look forward to seeing all of our students engaged in these real world learning experiences throughout the year.
