Meet Our Faculty
Stephanie Beason- 212° Academy Teacher
Stephanie Beason has been an educator for 18 years. During that time, she has served as a 4th and 5th grade literacy and social studies teacher, a state literacy consultant, and just prior to joining the 212° family, she served at the Gifted and Talented Coordinator at South Warren Middle School. Mrs. Beason graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, a Masters in School Counseling, as well as, a Rank I in Gifted Education. This is Mrs. Beason's eighth year at 212° Academy.
Mrs. Beason has been an instructor at Western Kentucky University’s Super Saturdays and SCATS (The Summer Camp for Academically Talented Middle School Students), has conducting research pertaining to the identification of minority and underprivileged gifted and talented students, and has written as a guest columnist in Kentucky Teacher on this important topic. She was named a 2016-18 Kentucky Hope Street Teacher Fellow. As a Fellow, Mrs. Beason worked with some of the best and brightest educators in the the state and nation to help give teachers a voice in the creation of education policy. Additionally, she currently serves on Kentucky's Education Commissioner's Teacher Advisory Council.
Nicole Hardcastle- 212° Academy Teacher
Nicole Hardcastle has been teaching with Warren County Public Schools since 2018. She attended Western Kentucky University where she majored in Elementary Education and is currently working to complete her Gifted and Talented Endorsement. While at WKU, Mrs. Hardcastle won a KAPE award for Equity in Teaching. Mrs. Hardcastle is excited to be in her fourth year of teaching at 212° Academy this year!
