In this section we will share some additional resources that don't fit within the project but we think are great and worth sharing!
Here are some slides that take a look at Photography for KS1 children. Each week the children look at a different area and try it out. From close ups to filters and standing steady to cropping. You will find a link to the lesson slides below.
Once again we have used the iPad as it offers a great camera along with built in editing options.

Stop Frame Animation is such a simple concept that can enable children with a wide range of abilities to engage with a story or theme.
Add an iPad into the mix and it all gets that little bit easier! From a range of great apps on the App Store to the built in camera, from built in stands to easily uploading final work.
We have attached some slides that we have developed for Stop Frame Animation below. They can be used from Year 4 to 6. The 'Final Project' that the children make could be tailored to a theme that they are covering in other subjects. for instance we have done Krindlekrax with a Year 4 class and States of Matter with a Year 5 class.

If you have a set of microbits in your school then you can you can use them with your iPad. This is a great way of meeting part of the Computing Programmes of Study for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Specifically the 'Programs on digital devices' section.
There are some links below to help you get started. We love the 'Monitor and control' section of the iOS app that allows you to observe real-time data from the microbit sensors. Have fun!
