Atisha Winslow
METCO Program Director (Grades K-12)
I am an Alum of the Reading METCO Program and a proud mother of two students who are currently enrolled in the METCO Program. Previously I worked for the Cohasset METCO Program for nine years as their Academic Liaison. In April 2023, I started working for the Walpole METCO Program as their METCO Middle/High School Academic Advisor In August of 2023, I became the Director of the Walpole METCO Program. I enjoy working with children and helping them realize the value of their voices.
Uma Valluri
METCO Academic Liasion (Grades 1-5)
Elm St., Boyden
I have worked as the METCO Academic Liaison at Elm Street School for the past 11 years, prior to that I worked as a substitute teacher at the elementary level in Walpole. I also taught in India for 5 years before my family moved to the US in 1994. This academic year, I will split my time between Elm Street School and Boyden School.

I have been in the education field for over
15 years. I attended Urban College of Boston
as well as Quincy College. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. My outlook on Education is that everyday is a learning experience when working with children and an opportunity to learn something new every day. I am excited to work with the Walpole METCO Program.
