METCO Program Director (Grades K-12)
I am an alum of the Reading METCO Program and a proud mother of two children who were enrolled in the METCO Program from kindergarten through graduation. My oldest is currently a sophomore at Spelman College, and my youngest is a high school senior still participating in the METCO Program.
Previously, I served as the Academic Liaison for the Cohasset METCO Program for nine years. In April 2023, I joined the Walpole METCO Program as the Middle and High School Academic Advisor. In August 2023, I was honored to become the Director of the Walpole METCO Program.
I am passionate about working with students and helping them recognize the power and value of their voices.
METCO Elementary Academic Liaison (Grades 1-5)
I have worked as the METCO Academic Liaison at Elm Street School for the past 11 years, prior to that I worked as a substitute teacher at the elementary level in Walpole. I also taught in India for 5 years before my family moved to the US in 1994. This academic year, I will split my time between Elm Street School and Boyden School.

In 2023, I served as a Walpole METCO intern and bus monitor. I have worked in public school systems in Boston, Foxborough, and Walpole. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work from Bridgewater State University.
I am passionate about helping students overcome challenges, close learning gaps, and achieve success.
I am excited to be working with your young scholars.
