Snow Day/ Weather Emergency Procedure

METCO Program Transportation- Inclement Weather

If there is a weather emergency/snow day, please be sure to watch the local news stations to see if school has been cancelled or if we will have a school delay. It will not say Walpole METCO it will say Walpole Public.  Typically,  I will receive a phone call from the Superintendent's Office by 5:00 am at which time I will either send a text message and/or an email.  Be sure to check both your phone and your email.  Please make sure your correct phone number is on file in Aspen / at your child's school.  

If Walpole has a two hour delay, then the bus (First Student)  will run two hours later than the regular scheduled time.  ( i.e. if your stop time is 6:30 am, your new time for the delay will be 8:30 am, if your stop time is 6:45am then your new time will be 8:45 am).

 If Walpole has a 90 minute or one hour delay ,then your stop will be 90 minutes or one hour after the regular scheduled stop.

If there is no delay and no cancellation, then it will be business as usual.
