Walpole Scholarship Foundation Applications Are Now Available!

Applications for the Walpole Scholarship Foundation are now available for students to begin completing! Last year, the foundation awarded $200,000 to 105 Walpole students (roughly $2,000 per student!). I encourage you to start ASAP as the application takes a while to get together. A completed application includes:

Yawkey Scholars Program - Scholarship awards of $35,000 per year for first-generation students attending private Massachusetts colleges, plus mentoring & enrichment funding!

Scholarship Amount: Determined by college cost of attendance, demonstrated need, and the level of funding for the program

Enrolled in a public or private secondary school in MA; U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen and is a permanent legal resident of MA; nominated by a sponsoring school or agency; cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale; demonstrates difficult personal circumstances, high financial need, and strong academic promise to continue their education beyond high school, at a college or university

JFK-GE Foundation STEM Scholarship Program:  

Application Deadline: 

Eligibility: U.S. citizens; high school seniors; plan to major in a STEM field; have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent); Demonstrate at school, the workplace, and/or within the community attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship.

Scholarship Amount: Up to 40 awards of $2,500 will be granted
