Camp Aranu’tiq: Harbor Camps in New Hampshire

• A non-profit overnight summer camp program serving transgender and gender-variant youth, ages 8-15 years old, and their families. They seek to provide a fun community experience, while simultaneously building confidence and resiliency.

Camp Lightbulb: Provincetown, MA

• An overnight camp experience for LGBTQ+ youth, ages 14-18 years old. Their mission is to celebrate and promote the self-worth, dignity and integrity of each individual in a fun, carefree and safe environment.

Camp Outright: Starksboro, VT

• A residential camp for LGBTQ+ and allied youth, ages 13-22 years old. Described as a typical camp experience with a queer twist, this is a very popular overnight camp in Vermont.

Camp Pride: Maine

• A camp for high school LGBTQ+ youth and their allies to spend time together in a safe and nurturing community. Camp Pride has a spiritual tone, however, they are very clear that they in no way try to convert, convince or indoctrinate anyone. This camp is simply a welcoming place to celebrate diversity and contemplate an open approach to a spiritual life.

The Venture Out Project: New England

• Bringing the LGBTQ+ community together to enjoy the beauty and wonder of the outdoors and physical activity in various locales. This group sponsors many different types of outdoor adventures for queer youth and/or their families, including backpacking and camping trips.

• Provided by the Trans Student Educational Resources (TSER), this compilation is the “longest list of LGBTQ+ camps on the internet”.
