PFLAG, is the nation’s largest organization for parents, families, friends, and allies of people who identify as LGBTQ+. Offering support, education and advocacy, PFLAG works to create safe and inclusive schools and environments for LGBTQ+ people.

Since 1985, "GLAAD has been at the forefront of cultural change, accelerating acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community". Helping to lead society's narrative, GLAAD works with entertainment, media and digital news to increase awareness and acceptance of people who identify as LGBTQ+.

By conducting national comprehensive research studies, they provide evidence-based interventions for schools (grades K-12) to help LGBTQ+ students and to improve school climates.

A joint program between MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Mass Commission on LGBTQ+ Youth that was founded in response to the high risk behaviors of LGBTQ+ students, i.e. suicides, drug/alcohol use, etc. Safe Schools will work with schools administrators to help implement state laws protecting the rights of LGBTQ+ students as well as to provide training for educators and staff regarding school climate for the LGBTQ+ student community.

Founded by Dennis and Judy Shepard in memory of their son, Matthew, who was murdered in an anti-gay hate crime in Wyoming in October 1998. Described as an “online village” that provides a variety of resources, regular blogs and interviews with people who are making a difference in their community; it also provides lists of outreach centers, shelters and empowerment programs.
