Macy Breure - Staff Writer 

Macy Breure is a senior at WVRHS. They enjoy doing pottery, photography, and other art related subjects within the school. They are involved with many clubs; such as Ecology Club, GSA, Yearbook, Art Club, Spanish Honor Society Club, and Stage Crew.  They enjoy all things whimsical and wacky, and also enjoy foraging and everything else that has to do with the outdoors. When not doing school work or extracurriculars after school, they're either taking care of their 7 rabbits or doing one of their many hobbies. They wish to become a great artist and creative writer and hope that they can make it far with their talents!

Victoria Shikata - Staff Writer 

Victoria Shikata is a senior writer for the Valley Voice. She enjoys writing about fashion, politics / current events, and local food spots! Outside of journalism, she is the senior class president and an active member of the NHS, NEHS, and NAHS. In the future she hopes to become an aquatic veterinarian and a spokesperson for environmental preservation. 

Grace Carr - Staff Writer

Grace Carr is a sophomore at Wallkill Valley Regional High School and a staff writer for The Valley Voice. She enjoys writing about sports. Outside of journalism, she’s a part of the basketball, tennis, and track team. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family, fishing, and hunting.

Fabrizio Amado - Staff Writer

Fabrizio Amado is a junior who spends his time building on his hobbies such as movie watching, reading, and shooting videos with his friends. He’s involved in the school’s Spanish National Honors Society, and volunteers for Empty Bowls with the National Honor Art Society. In The Valley Voice, Fabrizio enjoys writing articles on Wallkill’s various events - and his love for cameras is showcased in The Valley Voice, being a photographer for some of our articles. Beyond this, Fabrizio enjoys humanitarian diplomacy and wants to study law. He’s also an avid music listener, with plans to produce music as one of his many side-hustles in the distant future. 

Kristina McMickle - Staff Writer

Kristina McMickle is a freshman at Wallkill Valley Regional High School and a writer for The Valley Voice. She enjoys writing about everything no matter what it is and loves to contribute to the journalism class in any way possible. Outside of journalism, Kristina takes part in Esports after school, and loves to play with the unified team, seeing them as family. She also loves hanging out with friends and family, often snapping pictures and shooting videos to save the memories. As much as she enjoys writing, she also enjoys doing different forms of art in her free time, but most importantly, she loves sleeping. In the future, Kristina wants to be an author or anything related to being able to write. She also wants to be a mental health advocate for teens all over, and bring more attention to special needs students all over the world. 

Jordan DeRoide - Staff Writer

Jordan DeRoide is a freshman at Wallkill Valley Regional High School and a staff writer for The Valley Voice. She enjoys writing essays, stories, and her best piece was, “What It’s Like to be Me” that she wrote for English. Outside of school, Jordan loves drawing and spending time with her mom, grandma, and siblings. She hopes that in the future, she can help people in need.
