A paataka is a raise storehouse, pantry or larder. This paataka koorero is a collection of stories, resources and information about our local area.
This collection is to support teachers and students in Waiuku Schools as they connect their learning within a local context. Each school is also developing their own collection of resources and stories about their history and local area.
This collection of local and Aotearoa New Zealand history resources is located in the Waiuku College Library.
The yellow boxes contain a collection of documents collated by former principal Tom Vanderlaan. These documents comprise published material related to Ngaati Te Ata history, research and Treaty of Waitangi claims.
