A Kaahui Ako (Community of Learning) is a group of education and training providers working together to help learners achieve their full potential. Each Kaahui Ako sets shared goals, or achievement challenges based on the particular needs of its learners.

The Waiuku Kaahui Ako is led by Ms Lysandra Stuart, Principal of Glenbrook School. She is supported by a team of three Across School Leaders (ASL). Each school has one or more Within School Leader (WSL). Kaahui Ako leaders work together with principals, teachers, iwi, community groups and outside providers towards shared goals.
