Year 5/6 Korimako Term 3 2025

This term in Digi we had lots of fun using technology in creative ways.

We created silhouette art about ocean creatures in Keynote. Using Apple Pencils, we drew our own silhouettes and then used the text editor to play around with words and shapes to make our designs stand out.

In Maths, we used Minecraft to explore percentages. We designed 10x10 grids, built them in Minecraft, and then worked out the percentage of each colour we used. It made percentages way more exciting!

We also used photos around our environment to find angles. After taking the photos, we used Mark Up to label and name different angles, which helped us learn how to spot maths all around us.

We are proud of what we created this term and loved seeing how digital tools can make our learning even more fun.
