K3 have been learning about symmetry. As a fun way to start the unit, Mr A got the children to take selfies on their iPads, and then add the photo to 'Keynote'.
In 'Keynote', the students needed to crop the photo in half, copy and paste it next to each other, and then flip the photo on itself. This created the effect of a symmetrical face. They needed to do this twice - one for each side of their face.
They then took their original, and their two new faces, and made a Pic Collage of their photos, with comments about whether or not their faces were symmetrical.
