WAT identify relevant vocabulary
Your task is to come up with a diary entry using the writing prompt at the top of the page. You will need to SMRF this into your writing folder. Use the different pictures to plan your senses. Use the ideas from the stories and activities you have been investigating so far this week.
Remember to talk with your groups and share ideas.

Your task is to come up with words, sentences, phrases that begin with each letter of the alphabet that are related to ANZAC day. The reading and writing that you have done so far will help you with this too.

WALT Describe an animal
1. SMRF the Google Doc into your Google Drive, Writing folder
2. Open your planning from yesterday, as you will need to use the information you gathered to help write your description.
3. Group similar ideas together. You could make the following headings on your Google Drawing; Looks, actions, characteristics, and re arrange your descriptive words under the appropriate heading.
4. Write a paragraph about each heading, describing what the shark looks like, what actions the shark does, and what characteristics the shark has.

WALT: Edit and recraft our writing
1. Find and open your writing from Week 2, Describing an animal, paragraphs.
2. Check your spelling, punctuation and that what you have written makes sense.
3. Make changes needed to ensure your writing includes all the information you want it to have, makes sense and words are spelt correctly.

WALT: sort and rewrite information to expand our writing
1. Find and open your writing from Monday. Describing an animal in paragraphs.
2. Re-read your work to see if ideas are grouped together.
3. Read through the Shark Information notes and decide if some of the information is relevant to what you have written and will enhance your work. Choose the correct paragraph to add it to.
4. Rewrite the pieces you use in your own words.
