WALT: understand and show fractions in different ways.
Task:
- You will be assigned a particular fraction.
- SMRF this google drawing to help create a poster showing that fraction in different ways.
- File it in your maths folder and share it with Mrs McLellan.
- You must include:
- The fraction
- The words for the fraction
- The fraction as part(s) of a shape or object
- The fraction as part(s) of a set
- Captions explaining how your fraction is shown
Week 5 - Game for early finishers
WALT recognise fractions as part of a whole, and solve fraction puzzles visually.
Instructions:
- Click on the picture to link to the game.
- Use the tools (measuring tape, glue, copy function) to solve the different problems the woodland animals have.
