Students' Role in Safely Returning to School

To stay in school, we must commit to the following:

  • Wear a mask when riding the bus (if you need one, please contact the office) or ask your bus driver.

  • If you walk to a bus stop in town you should wear your mask while waiting to be picked up at the bus stop.

  • Wear your mask correctly (covering nose and mouth) when asked

  • Follow the directions and procedures given by your teacher and other adults at school

  • Social Distance

  • Wash your hands

  • Middle and high school students will be allowed to carry book bags to classes and will not be going to lockers during the school day.

  • Wear your mask when going through the breakfast or lunch lines.

  • Contact the school if you have any symptoms of covid (see image on the right)

  • Bring a filled clear water bottle each day. You will be able to refill it at a water station, but the fountains will be turned off.

  • Practice wearing a mask prior to returning to school

  • We will all work together to make sure you feel safe and comfortable at school. Your teachers will be available to you to talk to and our counselor and mental health services are also available to address your social and emotional needs.

  • The school is providing multiple masks for each person on campus, as well as disposable masks and additional PPE. Masks will be required through the day, with breaks often. Cloth masks will be washed after every use.

    • Students and adults may choose to wear the school-provided masks or bring a clean, 2 ply mask from home, during the school day. If you provide your own mask it should be taken home and washed daily.
