Students

students' Role in Safely Returning to School

To stay in school, we must commit to the following:

  • Wear a mask when riding the bus (if you need one, please contact the office) or when entering the building.

  • Wear your mask correctly (covering nose and mouth) when asked

  • Follow the directions and procedures given by your teacher and other adults at school

  • Social Distance

  • Wash your hands

  • Contact the school if you have any symptoms of covid (see image)

  • Bring a filled clear water bottle each day. You will be able to refill it at a water station, but the fountains will be turned off.

  • Practice wearing a mask prior to returning to school

  • We will all work together to make sure you feel safe and comfortable at school. Your teachers will be available to you to talk to and our counselor and mental health services are also available to address your social and emotional needs.

  • The school is purchasing multiple masks for each person on campus, as well as disposable masks and additional PPE. Masks will be required through the day, with breaks often. Cloth masks will be washed after every use.

    • Students and adults may choose to wear the school-provided masks or bring a clean, 2 ply mask from home, during the school day.

This is an image of the masks the school will provide. They will be washed daily at the HCPH recommended settings for sanitation.

Important Links and Additional Information:

  • Supply Lists: We understand that it will be difficult to purchase any cleaning items, hand sanitizer, or Clorox wipes. If you would liek to send some to your classroom teachers, please know they would be welcomed, but they are not a neccesity. We are purchasing ample cleaning supplies for the school. Every little bit helps!

  • Teacher's Lesson Plans

      • This will eventually house teacher lesson plans, to be accessed by all. We aren't quite there yet in our beginning of the year preparations, so stay tuned!
