West Harrison's

Return to Learn Plan

What is our plan to return to school?

OUR GOAL: To create a plan for students and faculty to return to onsite instruction that is sustainable and mitigates risk factors for all involved.

Here are the highlights:

  • We will be wearing masks as a requirement, with lots of scheduled breaks and other mitigation protocols in place to reduce exposure as much as possible.

        • West Harrison will provide masks OR students/adults can bring their own clean masks from home.

  • We have THREE possible plans ready to be used, when and if needed:

        • Onsite Learning: All students are on campus

        • Hybrid Learning: Partly at school, partly online

        • Continuous Learning: All students attend from home, via online learning

  • We prefer the onsite learning option by far and so will do all we can to keep it the only option for as long as possible!

  • For those students with health concerns, West Harrison will provide instruction to the home, through our continuous learning platform.

  • Like everything else, as our plan is put into action or as we progress through the rest of the year, things may change. Please be aware of this possibility and prepare to continue to support your students as they reenter learning at West Harrison.
