SPRING 2022

Everyone is excited for the first in-person production since 2020! This year, The Glen Meadow Theater Club will perform Your A Good Man Charlie Brown The Musical. This musical is directed by Mrs. Sander & Ms. Petrucci. When we spoke to the directors they were proud to say, "We have a ton of hard working and dedicated group of students working on the Musical as a T.E.A.M." (T.E.A.M. is the name of one of the songs in the musical!) This musical is a great way for our school and community to come together for a positive, fun, experience, especially after the past 2 years. By seeing this show students are aware of the opportunities we offer at Glen Meadow Middle School. Hi, I'm Ashlee and I am the Therapy Dog that just recently visited your school and here are some things about me and my life. I am a Norwegian Elkhound, Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog, Mastiff, Rottweiler mix and I have a tiny bit of Mexican Hairless in me. Also, I just had a birthday too, I turned three on Valentine's day! I have two owners my handler and her husband Rich and they adopted me from O.S.C.A.R when I was only three months old. After my adoption, there was a lot of training that involved becoming a Therapy Dog. First, I went to puppy class where I learned to properly walk on a leash, sit, stay, down, and leave it. Next, I completed 6 weeks of AKC Canine Good Citizen classes but the classes were a lot more intense than the puppy classes I previously took. Then I attended Therapy Dog training, where I learned how to act and approach a person in any situation. I've helped so many people being homeless people in Patterson, home visits with the ill, and being part of a reading club. I love being a Therapy Dog and I have lots more to come on my journey.
