Service Provided
The Consultation Lab provides consulting services and access to computer resources to students and faculty in the School of Education. Consultation is available relating to research and evaluation design, instrument development, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis.The lab is staffed by graduate students in the EDRE Program who are supervised and guided by faculty members in the EDRE Program. Consultation is provided on a walk-in basis.
Computer Resources
Hardware
There are 6 work stations available in the lab. The computers are equipped with the latest operating system, Microsoft Office, and Adobe software.

Schedule for EDRE Workshop Sessions
SPSS workshops introduce participants to the basics of getting started with this software. SPSS is designed to execute a variety of statistical procedures. It is used in EDRE 6605, EDRE 6606, and more advanced EDRE courses. Specific topics that are covered in the workshop include:
Creating SPSS files including data entry, labels, values, etc.
Cleaning and merging data files
Handling missing values
Opening an existing data file and/or importing data from Excel
Simple descriptive statistics and data display
