Objectives of the course:

This course is designed for students to review keyboarding and learn the fundamentals of spreadsheets, presentations, multi-media production and an introduction to VEX V5 Robotics.  Students will produce computer generated products using Microsoft’s' Office 2019 application suite and Google Docs online software.   Pinnacle Studio 21 will be utilized for the multimedia project.  

Essential Learner Outcomes:  

• Demonstrate proper input techniques for the keyboard.  

• Utilize Google spreadsheets to create and edit basic spreadsheets.  

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets with formulas and charts.  

• Use Google mail to communicate electronically with instructor in a proper manner.  

• Demonstrate the basic concepts toward building and programming a VEX V5 Robot.  

• Create an organized and effective video project on a historical character or Book Trailer.
