This is a small assignment I filled out to understand myself in film and novel genres. These are my answers to some questions that helped guide me doing my research paper assignment.
I wrote my thesis statement for my research essay and did a lot of research. I used class resources and my own source in order to help when doing my project.
This is my first draft of my research essay and I enjoy writing based on topic I am interested in. The other page is the resources I used in my paper.
This is the first draft of my creative screenplay writing. It's the first time I ever write my own mystery screenplay learning about the formatting and the ways to create suspense.

This is the second draft of my research paper.
This is my final research essay draft! I am extremely proud of myself of the effort I have spent in this assignment and how it turned out.
How does this assignment connect to other work you've done in non-English classes?
My research paper wasn't just an assignment that I have to complete, it was a lesson and something I explored in VIS. In both PBL and Geography class, I have to make annotated bibliography for everything to let my teachers know what resources I have used and if the source is reliable for doing my assignments. I had a very hard time in making those bibliographies because organizing and gathering wasn't what I am good at. However, after I submitted my final research paper, knowing that I have to make every single paragraph and the work cited page right, I have learnt how to arrange resources. In my final project in Geography, I had to make an annotated bibliography. This time, I knew how to classify and format it.
How did feedback from your peers help you grow during the completion of this assignment?
Before I did my final research essay draft, I went to many of my classmates, friends, and family for advice in order to improve it. My teacher told me some issues I had after I have submitted my first draft. He told me that I should assume that my readers know as much information as I do so I should focus on giving my opinion toward my topic. I asked an honored student to read my essay and she gave me solid word usage advices by telling me that I use words that are too strong. That isn't beneficial to me because people get less convinced toward my words. I used all of the advices and turned into my voice in my final research paper. I am very proud of it and is looking forward to explore more in this class.
