It is a new semester! That means we got another project to move on to, and at the beginning of the semester, our teacher let us write down a topic that you are facing in life, and you want to change. For example, there are too many motorbikes that are parked on the sidewalk; we should remove them and make the sidewalk wider so people who are walking can pass those who walk more slowly, and make the people who walk faster pass easily, and at the same time, make the city looks for clearly. And all after that, we started to do another project like this, but the thing changed into: today, the government tells us they are building a subway station in this area, because of this, we need to break down a building because of the subway station, and here are the places we are thinking of ( 1. Stray Animal Home, 2, nursing homes, 3, Military dependents' village, 4. The site of the ancient city gate, 5. graveyard. ) we need to pick one the break down and now, we need to explane the reason of why are we breaking down the building or the place and everyone in the class need to vote about it.
After this practice, we started our debate project preparation. The debate topic has been chosen on one of the class study day. And the topic I got was whether we should ban smoking outside the smoking area. The debate was very interesting because it was my first experience, and I was nervous on stage, so that day I didn't perform as well as I expected. The side we are standing on is the agree side, and the other side is the disagree side. And the things we need to do are to find facts for what will happen if we do this thing for making this policy better, and the other side also needs to prove to us that this won't happen, and they can add up a however part, so make them in a better situation, and the people on the stage will record the information up there and vote witch side performed the best and teacher will tell everyone the result after the debate, and ofcourse the winning side is not my side, because our first person to talk is talking something that is not very related on the topic (I am also not the mvp) but at least I got a experience, I know what to do better next time.
