This subject teaches about global geography, and the teacher will teach you about the physical earth and world geography. Here, we need to make a presentation about different types of Earth terrain to illustrate the effects of the spheres on the terrain. In the first month of this semester, we have learned most of the physical geography, like how the temperature changes, how the land changes, and how a part of the land can become a river
Top picture : So for the first few weeks of October, me and my group started a project call "Atlas project, physical map", this is the flag we have drew for our empire, it means peace and nature on our flag. The picture under is the map we drew to show the biomes, culture and religion type of stuff to show how does our empire works, so let me explane about to biomes here. Let's start with the yellow part, the yellow part presents the desert biomes of the our empire, because it's "desert", so we can tell there are very less resources at there, the only resources there is minerals under ground, and it is very unfriendly for human to live at there so we can tell is a place that can do nothing with it.
Next onto the green part, the green part present our tropical rainforest, most of the people in our empire lives in this biomes tropical rainforest have a friendly environment for human to live in, here also have a lot of resources like water, trees, animals and some minerals under ground, people here can make their own government here, but there will always be a stronger government on top of this government to just make this empire peace and keep the nature original so keeps the meaning of our flag and make this empire better the before.
The Blue part of out empire of the tundra biomes, up here there has snow resources, and a lot of the minerals resources on the mountain, the environment here is friendly for the peoples who likes to live in the low temperature, can make a government at here to make the empire strong.
This is an economic map of the empire. For this project, we have just started to learn about the economic system. One key idea is that the fewer resources there are, the more valuable they become—like diamonds. Diamonds are very valuable because they are rare, which makes them expensive and desirable for luxury items. But if there are too many diamonds, then the price will fall. For example, in the Congo, they have a large amount of diamond resources. They still want to sell diamonds at a high price, but buyers will demand a lower price if the supply is very large. If the diamond owners refuse to lower their prices, the economy could crash. However, if they accept the lower prices, they may make less profit, no profit, or even lose money. So for this map, we need to make sure the way our economic system works is strong, so our economy won’t crash like in the Congo.
These are all the maps we have done for our Atlas fantasy map projects. We have made an economic map, a biomes map, and a culture map. For this map, we have done a gallery walk with other classes in our school to make sure our project is great, and also to practice our presentation skills. The main purpose of this project is to show us how hard it is to draw a map, because our teacher has shown us a map drawn a thousand years ago. And none of our classmates can really recognize the continent on that map, so our teacher let us make These are all the maps we have created for our Atlas fantasy map projects. So far, we have completed an economic map, a biomes map, and a culture map. For the development of these maps, we organized a gallery walk with other classes at our school. This was a great opportunity to share our work and get feedback to ensure our project turns out great. It also helped us practice our presentation skills, which is really important for sharing our ideas clearly.
The main purpose of this project is to help us understand how challenging it is to draw a map. Our teacher showed us an old map that was drawn a thousand years ago, and it was so hard to recognize the continent on that map. Many of our classmates struggled to identify even the main features. This experience made us realize how difficult it can be to create a map that others can understand. So, our teacher gave us the chance to make our own maps. By doing this, we learned that mapping is not an easy job, and it requires careful thought and creativity. Overall, this project has been a fun and educational way to explore geography and express our ideas. One of ourselves, so we can know it is not an easy job.
And also, we have done a video project on why South Africa isn't a country that can compete with America, Russia, these types of huge countries, and some of the points like the failed social contract, centrifugal dynamics, geopolitical conflicts, and civil rights and liberties. One of the great reasons that South Africa isn't a "Great Country" is that South African people think they don't have the right, the freedom, and the liberty they deserve, and also at that time, the government is giving the more rights to those white people so the peoples lives there thinks they didn't got a equal treatment so those black community start to make social movements to ask for black people's right and so far, it is still happening. From this work, we can see there are still a lot of place that still has some people who are still losing their rights, and what we can do is just give our ideas on to social media, and hope people can see it so everyone in the world can know these types of events and make their country a better place, and also make the world a better place.
It is almost the end of the semester! And now, we are all focusing on our final project, but before the final project, we have write an argument essay
This image here is the final project that I made, it is a card game that needs to be compared with the level that you are at, the high-level character can eliminate the lower-level card
