6th of May 2020.
Hi everyone,
We hope you are all keeping safe and well. Last Saturday it was planned that you would receive your First Holy Communion as a class but this did not go ahead. We know that this was a big disappointment for everyone but we look forward to this day in the near future.
We hope that you are enjoying the work on your blog. We endeavour to make our class blog as exciting, inviting and interactive as possible. We have outlined more work suggestions for the coming week and please remember that this work is a suggested guide and use it like a menu.
Thank you for all your lovely emails this week. It was really nice to see what you are all doing and how you are keeping busy. We have posted some of your work on the class blog in the Super student’s work folder. You will find this on the top of the blog page.
We have put week 1 and week 2 work suggestions in folders on the top of the blog page as well.
We would love to hear from you again this week to let us know how you have been getting on and maybe a few pictures and work samples as well. With parental permission we can post your work on the class blog.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at 2ndclassteachers@virginians.ie - Looking forward to seeing you all really soon.
Take care everyone,
Concepta O Reilly, Colette Boyle, Caoimhe Peyton.
Saturday the 2nd of May,
was set to be your First Holy Communion Day.
Together, while staying apart we must pray,
and ask God to keep us safe in every way.
Soon, you will have your big day.
It will be so special in all kinds of ways,

Note to parents
Parental supervision is recommended for the science activities which require pupils to safely explore living things. While searching for mini beasts etc. pupils should be reminded of the importance of not touching their faces and remembering to wash their hands when finished. Advise your child to treat all living things in the environment with respect, care and sensitivity.
