Second Class

Dear Parents,

We hope you are all keeping safe and well. Welcome back to the final term for second class. Hopefully you got on well with the work we provided before Easter. We have provided work suggestions 2 for the coming week, please remember that this work is a suggested guide and just complete what you can and what you feel suits your child best.

As before we have compiled a list of recommended activities and sites for some general advice on supporting interactive book reading at home, oral language, writing, maths, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, fine and gross motor skills, sensory needs etc. to browse through. These are optional and bearing in mind the diverse needs and abilities in any classroom, we tried our best to cater for everyone.

We would like to see some of the children’s work and if parents give permission, we may post some samples of work to future blog posts. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at 2ndclassteachers@virginians.ie - Looking forward to seeing you really soon.
