Property Tax Exemption

PLEASE NOTE - THANE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION & Vasai Virar Municipal ESM need not apply as they already have exemption as per respective municipal rulings. The procedure for them will be as per their local orders. Please see copy of the rulings below.

1. As of now the Property Tax exemption is applicable to original Domicile (Domicile before joining service) and Other State ESM who have completed 15 years after obtaining their I-card from any district of Maharashtra.

2. YOU NEED TO BE IN POSSESSION OF A ZILLA SAINIK WELFARE OFFICE I CARD TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ELIGIBILITY. IF YOU DON'T HOLD A ZSWO CARD PLEASE FIRST PROCESS THE SAME AND THEN APPLY FOR PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION CERTIFICATION

3. Due to the need for endorsement of the certificate in your Discharge Book/Service Book the issue of Digitally signed certificate has been cancelled. Only ink signed certificate will be issued.

प्रमाणपत्र कसे apply करायचे 

1. मालमत्ता कारारतून सूट मिळण्यासाठी सर्वात प्रथम आपण आपली महाराष्ट्रातील घेतलेले माजी सैनिक आय कार्ड व प्रॉपर्टी कर बिल च्या स्कॅन कॉपी करून ठेवा. फाइल ची साइज लहान करण्याकरिता या संकेत स्थळाचा  वापर करा. https://tools.pdf24.org/en/

2. फाइल स्कॅन करून झाल्यावर , हा गूगल फॉर्म (क्लिक करा )   कंप्लीट करा. भरतांना माहिती बरोबर भरली आहे का याची तपासणी करा. फॉर्म सबमिट करताना आपल्याला वरील दोन स्कॅन अपलोड कराव्या लागेल.

3. फॉर्म भरून झाल्यावर आपल्याला सर्टिफिकेट 48-72 तास मध्ये  आपल्या ईमेल वर डिजिटल सिग्नेचर करून मिळेल. आपल्याला सही चे प्रमाणपत्र गूगल फॉर्म भरल्याच्या सात दिवसा नंतर zswo  ऑफिस मध्ये मिळेल. प्रमाणपत्र घेतांना सर्वांनी आपले डिस्चार्ज बूक अथवा ज्या Original  डॉक्युमेंट वर आय कार्ड ची एंट्री केली आहे ते घेऊन जाणे अनिवार्य राहील.  

PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED(IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE YOUR CERTIFICATE WILL BE DELAYED)

1.For availing Property tax Exemption please ensure you have scan copies of your I card (issued by ZSWO Thane/Palghar) and a copy of the Property Bill as held in the name of the ESM/Widow. To ensure reduction in size of the scan copies you may use the site https://tools.pdf24.org/en/

2. Once you have the scans ready please complete this GOOGLE FORM(Click here ). Please ensure correctness of the information submitted as this office will not be responsible for mistakes arising due to incorrect data submission from your end. The two documents mentioned above need to be uploaded for verification at the end of completion of the google form. Completion of Google Form is compulsory for all.

3. Once the google Form is completed and submitted please wait for at least 48-72 working hrs to receive back the desired certificate in your email duly signed digitally. Ink signed copy  will be handed over to you when you visit the office of the ZSWO 7 days after completion of the google form. Ensure you carry along the original Discharge Book/Original Document on which I card has been endorsed.
